The FIFA World Cup fever has hit cricketers too!

England cricketers showed off their football skills by indulging in penalty shoot-outs on Wednesday ahead of the three-match One-Day International series against India.

In a Sky Sports video, the players can be seen divided into two teams and passionately standing at the back while one took the penalty, as is the case in football.

While all-rounder Ben Stokes starred with a series of superb saves, denying goals to the likes of Moeen Ali, Jason Roy, David Willey and Jake Ball, ace batsman Joe Root was impressive as well.

Jos Butter, who has been in tremendous form, continued his success in the other sport by converting a penalty, as did fast bowler Liam Plunkett.

Once done with the fun session, the players got back into the nets for last-minute preparations ahead of the first ODI to be held in Trent Bridge on Thursday.
