Twitter goes crazy as Indian cricketer MS Dhoni turns 37

India’s World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni celebrated his 37th birthday on Saturday. And, his legions of fans and fellow cricketers showed their immense love on Twitter.

And of all the wishes that he received, the one from his former teammate Virender Sehwag was perhaps that stood out.

Suresh Raina, who has played with Dhoni for Chennai Super Kings over the years, was also effusive in his wishes for his ‘inspiration’.

“Walking out of your 500th international match & gracefully walking into the blessed day of India, when a legend like you was born! Wish you a very Happy Birthday brother @msdhoni You have been my inspiration & will always be!”

Some of the others to wish a happy birthday to Dhoni were Sachin Tendulkar, Shikhar Dhawan, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami.

Meanwhile, Dhoni is currently in England for the ongoing two-month-long series. He became only the third Indian to play 500 international matches after featuring in the second T20 in Cardiff on Friday.
