Gayle’s century led KXIP to victory

Chris Gayle is a West Indies national team cricketer and widely known for his destructive batting style. He is one of the best player in T20 cricket. Every teams wants to collect him for their own. In IPL he is playing for Kings XI Punjab for the new season. Basically most of the innings he can not shine up but sometimes in his day, he used to destroy the opponent bowlers. Somewhat like that his day against Sunrisers Hyderabad was come yesterday. In the match, Chris Gayle made an incredible century and it seems that Gayle’s century led KXIP to victory against the most potential team Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab both are the participants in ongoing 11th season of Indian Premier League. In the year of 2018, total eight participants are competing for the ultimate glory of IPL where SRH and KXIP are the two most potential teams. Both of them are showing very amazing performance in the season. In the ongoing season, SRH faced just one defeat which was their last match. They played four matches till now and won three of them. They are in 3rd position on IPL point table where KXIP are in 4th position. They also have the same six points but considering the run rate, SRH is ahead of them. Kings XI Punjab also played four matches and won three times.

In their last match which was staged at the home venue of Kings XI Punjab named Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali, they faced Sunrisers Hyderabad. SRH won their first three matches and so, their confidence level was so high. But at the home venue, KXIP was familiar. So, they took the opposite decision by winning the toss. KXIP decided to bat first where earlier all the toss winning teams decided to bowl first by winning the toss. So, They came to bat by their own choice.

Chris Gayle alone played brilliantly and dominated the opponent bowlers. His companions were Rahul who scored 18 runs, Agarwal scored 18 runs and Nair scored 31 runs so far. Gayle remained not out with his 104 runs. He faced 63 balls where he made one 4 and eleven 6’s. So, by playing 20 overs, KXIP scored 193 runs in exchange for three wickets.

On the other side, Sunrisers Hyderabad also went to near the victory but finally failed. They lost four wickets were Manish pandey remained not out with 57 runs so far. Captain Williamson scored 54 runs where Shakib scored 24 runs in 12 balls so far.
