Rohit Sharma and Mitchell McClenaghan are known to be good friends, thanks to the Indian Premier League (IPL), in which they represent the same team, Mumbai Indians.

And as the Kiwis are in India for the upcoming limited-overs series, the duo took some time off to catch up with each other in Mumbai, which is also Rohit’s hometown.

Rohit later took to his official Twitter to handle to share a glimpse of all the fun he had with the speedster.

In a video posted to his 8.5 million followers, the opening batsman ‘tested’ McClenaghan’s Hindi skills. “Trying to test his Hindi skills @Mitch_Savage,” he wrote.

In the clip, McClenaghan could be heard saying a couple of Hindi words — “thandaa paani (cold water)” and “nahi, nahi, nahi, nahi (no, no, no, no).” Not a bad effort, Mitch!

Meanwhile, New Zealand will look to challenge the growing supremacy of Team India when the lock horns in 3 One-dayers and as many T20 Internationals, beginning October 22.
