England fast-bowler Stuart Broad has set his eyes upon joining the 400-wicket club as he gears up for the upcoming three-match Test series against Sri Lanka scheduled to kick-off from May 19 in Leeds.

Broad, 29, already has 333 wickets from 91 matches in the longest format of the game, and will look to emulate his senior teammate James Anderson in entering the coveted list in the times to come.

“It’s always dangerous looking too far ahead, but I am only 29 and I want to play for a good few years yet,” the lanky speedster candidly divulged, as quoted by Daily Star.

“It’s important to stay in the moment but, of course, 400 Test wickets would be a dream come true for me,” added Broad, who has 15 five-wicket and two 10-wicket hauls to his name.

Should he succeed in doing so, Broad – currently the number one Test bowler in the world – will become just the second Englishman and 14th player overall to pull off the feat.
