South Africa vs West Indies 2015: Riding on a spectacular all-round performance, South Africa crushed West Indies by 9 wickets in the third One-Day International (ODI) match in East London on Thursday. With this, the hosts sailed for an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5-match series.

Earlier, the visitors won the toss and decided to bat first, which ultimately proved to be a flawed decision, getting all-out for a paltry 122. For South Africa, leggie Imran Tahir picked up 4 wickets, while seamers Vernon Philander (3), Dale Steyn (2) and Morne Morkel (1) also made crucial contributions with the ball.

In response, the hosts had no hitches, as they successfully chased down the target in the 25th over itself with 9 wickets to spare. Hashim Amla (61*) and Faf du Plessis (51*) anchored the South African batting attack to a victory here.

Up next, the two teams now meet in the fourth ODI on Sunday, which would be nothing but a dead rubber.
