The Indian Premier League (IPL) has striven to give a golden stage to some of the little-known players, who riding on their competency, make it to the bigger stage. And here, 17-year-old Sarfaraz Khan is another young talent, who appears to be the one to watch out in the future.

Sarfaraz, who plays for the Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) at the IPL, struck the eyes of the cricket world after a belligerent 21-ball 45 against the Rajasthan Royals, subsequently spoke about the prop up he receives from the experienced players in the side.

“AB De Villiers is my favorite player. AB always gives me all the tips. When I am nervous he comes over and talks to me. It feels good when such a big player comes and speaks,” Sarfaraz was quoted as saying by the New Indian Express.

He continued: “Coach (Daniel Vettori) supported me and encouraged me. He told me not to think too much, but to play my natural game.”
