What? Jeff Horn vows to stop Terence Crawford in first round

Jeff Horn (18-0, 12 KOs) may be stepping into the ring as a massive underdog against Terence Crawford (32-0, 23 KOs), but he certainly knows how to keep his spirits up ahead of the big fight.

Horn, who upset Manny Pacquiao to win the WBO welterweight belt last year, is scheduled to make the second defence of his belt against Crawford, the unified super lightweight champion.

And Horn, who had won the Australian welterweight title by stopping Samuel Colomban in the first round back in 2013, insists he will look to do the same against Crawford in a quest to silence his critics.

“I won the Australian title with a first-round knockout in 2013 and I’d love to stop Crawford just as quickly,” the 30-year-old Australian was quoted as saying by BoxingScene. “It would shut a lot of people up.”

Is Horn daydreaming? Or is he prepared to pull off a massive upset? We shall know next week.
