He may have gone under the knife recently, but that hasn’t stopped him from thinking about his future.

Vasyl Lomachenko, who stopped Jorge Linares to win WBA lightweight title on May 5, suffered a torn labrum during the 11-round bout that forced him to undergo a shoulder surgery last week.

With the repair work done, ‘Hi-Tech’ (11-1, 9 KOs) has expressed interest at fighting the unbeaten Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis (20-0, 19 KOs) in December. But, he has one condition: he’s not moving down the weight class.

While Lomachenko fought Linares at 135 pounds, Davis, the WBA super featherweight champion, weighs in at around 130 usually even as he has fought at 135 once.

“If he [Davis] comes to my weight category, then why not?” Lomachenko told TMZ in an exclusive chat.

Apart from Davis, Lomachenko is often in talks for a mega fight with another unbeaten American Mikey Garcia (38-0, 30 KOs). But that will not happen anytime soon, the Ukrainian revealed.
