Boxing legend Muhammad Ali discharged from hospital……

The greatest of al time, former heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali has been discharged from hospital. He was admitted just before christmas last year (2014) with pneumonia. Rumours started to swirl that Ali was on deaths door last month, but the GOAT put that to rest with a well timed selfie.

Now aged 72, concerns for Muhammad Ali’s health and well being were genuine. He built up a huge fan base during his stints as champion in the 1960’s and 70’s. His legendary trilogy of fights with Joe Frazier gave Ali the platform needed to spread his messages against racism.

He came from a time when blacks and whites were subject to segregation in the United States of America, and world wide. He used his position as the biggest sports celebrity of the time to fight for human rights, and to try and make the world a better place.

It was a sad sight to see the greatest getting pummeled by Larry Holmes and Trevor Berbick. He fought well past when he should of retired, and was later diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the 1980’s. Just as racism, Parkinson’s, and stronger younger fighters after his prime couldn’t stop him, we are delighted to bring the news; Muhammad Ali discharged from hospital.
