The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) on Tuesday asked Kubrat Pulev to undergo a sexual harassment course in order to get his boxing license reinstated.

The Bulgarian embroiled himself in controversy after forcibly plating a kiss on female reporter Jenny Sushe’s lips during a post-fight interview a couple of months back.

Although Pulev said his action was out of pure joy before serving out an apology, the reporter hired renowned American attorney Gloria Allred to have his boxing license suspended.

According to TMZ Sports though, Pulev will have to pay a fine of $2500, only after which officials will take a decision over the ban that prohibits him from fighting in North America.

The report also added the heavyweight pugilist was lectured by the commissioner during the hearing as he took responsibly for his actions in a quest to make his ring return soon.

For those unaware, Pulev is an established heavyweight, having defeated the likes of Dereck Chisora, Hughie Fury, Alexander Ustinov, Alexander Dimitrenko among others on his way to a 27-1 record.

His only career defeat has come at the hands of former kingpin Wladimir Klitschko.
