It’s no secret that British heavyweights Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte are bitter rivals. So, what’s going on between the two on social media is hardly a surprise.

Chisora and Whyte fought each other back in 2016, with the latter pulling off a controversial split decision win in a 12-round bout at the Manchester Arena.

Chisora took to his official Twitter handle to share a screenshot of the threatening direct messages he has been receiving from Whyte.

“You are a coward,” Whyte wrote. “But listen, forget all this. Let’s meet somewhere, you bring two guys, I bring two. And we bring 50k each, you and me fight.”

Chisora replied: “That’s a bit stupid of you. I don’t have any cheerleaders so I can’t bring anyone.

Highlighting the controversial outcome of their fight, he added: “Fight me in the rain the winner takes all. If you believe you beat me the first time, should be easy for you this time.”

However, it doesn’t look like the duo will square off against each other anytime soon.

Whyte, who recently made the first defence of his WBC Silver belt, was initially expected to challenge Deontay Wilder for the main title.

He, however, has been asked to fight Luis Ortiz before setting up a showdown for the world title.
