Anthony Joshua is arguably the most feared boxer in the world at the moment. But, legendary promoter Frank Warren believes there is someone who punches harder than anybody else in the United Kingdom.

Warren, 65, insists 20-year-old heavyweight Daniel Dubois’ hand power is more than that of Joshua and legends Lennox Lewis and Frank Bruno.

Dubois clinched his fifth victory in his as many professional career fights on Saturday night, knocking out AJ Carter to win the vacant BBBofC Southern Area belt.

“I think he punches harder than any British heavyweight I’ve ever seen. We’re talking harder than Anthony Joshua, Frank Bruno, Lennox Lewis, all of them,” Warren was quoted as saying by Mirror.

“In terms of potential, I think he’s in front of anyone I’ve ever had. He’s 20.,” he continued. “I would never be putting guys into title shots after four fights but that’s how confident I am in him.”

Warren further quipped that the British board may amend their rules for Dubois, who also owns the WBC Youth belt.

“He could win the British title today. I think the Board may be looking at changing the rule for him to fight for it before he’s 21,” he said.
