Carl Froch vs Mikkel Kessler Fight Result and VIDEO
Carl Froch Beat Mikkel Kessler by unanimous decision:
Froch who was beaten by Kessler in the first fight, came out strong in the rematch at O2 Arena and took the fight from Kessler in the early rounds, though Kessler fought back and started to hurt Froch who always had a fury of punches in every exchange they had round after round.
Froch throw double the punches than Kessler by his success rate was a bit lower than Kessler, who threw some big punches in the later rounds but generaly Froch was at home and never got hurt apart from that cut above his eye.
Carl Froch Career Record: 35 years old British boxer have had a great career so for, with (30-2, 22 KO’s) 30 wins to his name out of which 22 came as knockouts and known as Cobra he has only lost twice in his career and one of those defeats was against his upcoming opponent.
Mikkel Kessler Career Record: Mikkel Kessler is one great boxer from Denmark and his career record speaks for himself with (46-2, 35 KO’s) 46 wins to his name out of which 35 came as knockouts and just two defeats he will go into the fight as slight favourite, and Froch would like to use his flurry of punches technique against Kessler which can undone him as he can become the victom of kessler’s big punch and everything can fall apart for Froch.
Froch has been saying in the press that his defeat against Kessler was something always bothered him and he knows that he is a better boxer, well we will see come the 25th may at O2 Arena London. Kessler defeat Lucian Bute and Yusaf Mack in his latest two fights and he will be looking to keep his momentum going against Kessler, but thats a different fight than he fought in last two years and he can not get complacent.
I am surprised that Vegas has Froch as slight favourite for this fight, well maybe because he is fighting in his home country but I am going with Kessler who comes into this fight with entire Scandinavian contingent on his back, Froch is good boxer but Kessler has a little bit more speed and power his technique is better than froch as well. Its a another 12 round unanimous decision for Kessler.
