IBF, IBO and WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) has exuded confidence ahead of his unification bout against WBA holder Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs). The fight is scheduled to be held in Cardiff on March 31.

Joshua, who has never gone the distance in his professional career so far despite fighting some of the big names including Wladimir Klitschko, has revealed that he has been working on his feet movement that should help him continue his knockout streak.

“He’s going to come 50 per cent better than I’ve ever seen him before,” the 28-year-old said of his opponent from New Zealand, as quoted by Sky Sports (via FightNews).

He continued: “But what I’ve learned is that boxing is simplified when you incorporate your feet. Even though it’s a game of punching people, your feet get you in and out of the way.

“So if I can transform what I’ve worked on in the gym for the last 10 to 11 weeks into the ring then hopefully I can get him out of there between six and eight.”

Should Joshua go on to beat Parker, he is likely to trade punches with WBC champion Deonaty Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) for the undisputed title.
