Tyson Fury offers a job to ‘wooden-legged’ David Haye

David Haye would not have even lasted 12 rounds against Tony Bellew had he just shadow-boxed, former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has claimed.

Fury, who recently denied to fight Bellew with some strong words, added that he had placed a bet of a thousand pounds that Haye would lose inside the distance.

The reason? Well, he puts it simply. “Because David Haye is finished,” the ‘Gypsy King’ told FightHype.

“I expected that fight to go as it did. [Haye’s] shot to pieces, can’t pull the trigger no more and he’s got two wooden legs. How was he ever going to beat somebody?” he questioned.

“If Tony Bellew wouldn’t have even been in the ring he probably couldn’t have completed 12 rounds by himself, shadow boxing.

“I actually felt sorry for him to be honest.”

Fury further poked fun at Haye, a former two-division world champion, by offering him a job even as he insisted that the latter has a ‘few good nights’ left in him.

“And if you need a job David, I am sure we can give you a job at Gypsy King HQ, PO Box 104, Monaco. You can clean my ship.

“I think he should keep going you know. It’s a good sport, good for him, I think he’s got a few good nights left in him and I hope he keeps going.”

Meanwhile, Fury himself is scheduled to fight for the first time in two years against an undecided opponent on June 9.
