Despite calling out each other on multiple occasions, British welterweights Kell Brook (36-2) and Amir Khan (31-4) could never make the fight happen.

Moreover, the chances of a duel between the two have appeared glum of late, with both fighters going through crisis.

While Brook underwent a second eye surgery following back-to-back losses, Khan has been dormant since his defeat to Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in May last year.

And with Brook set for February comeback and Khan announcing his intentions of fighting early in 2018, the former wants to make it happen this time around.

“I want to get in there and beat Queen Khan up,” Brook, 31, was quoted as saying by Mirror.

He added: “We all want to see me stood over him, saying, ‘listen, I told you. I told you.’ We want to make that fight happen. We all want to see it. I want to smash him.”
