Fresh from bagging his fourth KO win in as many matches, Indian professional boxer Vijender Singh has set his eyes upon his forthcoming bout, which scheduled to be held in Harrow on April 2. Interestingly, this will be his maiden eight-rounder, having previously competed in lower-round bouts.

Although Vijender has featured in four contests so far, his domination hasn’t let him go past the third round.  That said, the 30-year-old will look forward to expend some more time in the ring ahead of his homecoming, where he will either fight a 10 or a 12-round match for the WBO Asia belt.

After knocking out Sonny Whiting in his debut last year, Vijender followed it up with a first-round demolition of Dean Gillen before thumping Samet Hyuseinov to make it three from three. In his first battle of the year last week, he stunned Alexander Horvath to extend his KO record.

The Indian pugilist is, therefore, keen on maintaining his unbeaten run and is already eyeing another KO win.

“I can’t wait to fight at Harrow and show the London fans just what Vijender Singh is all about. I’ve fought around the country in Manchester, Dublin and Liverpool and now I’m heading to the capital for my fifth professional fight. I am aiming for fifth knockout-win in a row,” Vijender was quoted by DNA.
